Wyckoff calls itself a garden town in a garden state, and honestly, it earns it. Tree-lined streets, real open space, and some of the best nature spots in northwest Bergen County. I shoot here often, it is an easy drive from my home in Teaneck, and I have my favorite corners of every park mapped by light and season.
Wyckoff families are grounded people. They want photos that feel like them, not a stiff production. Candid, warm, real life at its best. That is exactly the session I do.
Where We Shoot in Wyckoff
The James A. McFaul Environmental Center is the crown jewel. Eighty-one acres of trails, gardens, a waterfowl pond, and wildlife, all run by Bergen County Parks. It gives you woods, water, and open meadow in a single session, and the pond area at golden hour is genuinely beautiful. Kids love it here because there is always something to look at.
Zabriskie Pond Park is smaller and quieter, a pond with picnic areas and easy paths. It is perfect for families who want a relaxed session without a lot of walking, and the water gives every photo a calm, open feel.
Russell Farms Community Park has a recreational trail and an educational arboretum, which means variety: open fields, planted gardens, and shaded stretches all in one place.
And if you would rather stay close to home, Wyckoff's neighborhoods photograph beautifully, especially in fall. Your street, your backyard, your family's actual daily life. Some of my favorite sessions have happened ten steps from a client's front door.

My Essential Family Session is $399 for 45 minutes. Guided but natural: I direct, you be yourselves, and the best images land in the in-between moments. Every photo is edited and delivered to a proof gallery, and you keep your 20 favorites.

- Location: Bergen County area (Historic Park, waterfront/Palisades views, or a spot that fits your family) or your home, if that's an option you are comfortable with.
- Images delivered: 20 professionally edited high-resolution digital images
- Add-ons available: Pre-pay for additional images for a discounted rate, at the end of your session you will be able to choose your 20 images, prepay for additional images now or pay the standard rate later.
- Session style: A mix of posed and candid shots, kept relaxed and unscripted so it doesn't feel stiff
