Flat Rock Brook Nature Center is my top recommendation for Englewood sessions. The Essential Family Session is a guided but natural outdoor shoot, no stiff poses, no forced production, just an easy afternoon together. We'll spend time outside at one of my go-to locations in Northern, NJ or somewhere we agree on together. I'll give gentle direction when it helps and step back when it doesn't, since some of the best moments happen when everyone stops thinking about the camera.
Afterward, every image from your session is fully edited and delivered to a proof gallery, where you choose your 20 favorites to keep. Want more? Additional images can be unlocked at booking for a discounted rate, or after delivery at the standard rate. Once you book, you'll get a confirmation along with everything you need to prepare for your session.

Natural, earthy tones work exceptionally well at Flat Rock Brook — the preserve has deep greens, browns, and water. Avoid bright colors that compete with the setting. Layers in fall are perfect.
